Application Deferral Policy
If you cannot submit your packet this year, the AVOT allows for a single, one-time deferral to the next cycle. Requests must be submitted prior to the December 31st deadline using the formal online request form.

Exam Fee & Authorization
The $400 examination fee covers virtual proctoring costs for the VTS virtual exam.
Important: Payment must only be submitted after you have received official written notification from the AVOT Examination Committee confirming your application packet has been accepted and you are approved to sit for the exam. Unauthorized or premature payments will not be processed toward examination eligibility.
